At Lighthouse Preschool, our Pre-K program helps children build the skills and confidence they need for a successful transition to kindergarten. Through early academics, hands-on activities, creative exploration, and meaningful social experiences, children strengthen their independence, problem-solving, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Our teachers make learning exciting while preparing each child to learn, lead, and shine.
Confidence & Independence
Our Pre-K students are encouraged to try new things, make choices, complete age appropriate responsibilities, and take pride in their accomplishments. We want to help them develop the confidence and independence they’ll need for kindergarten.
Social-Emotional Growth
Through classroom routines, group activities, friendships, and positive guidance, children learn to communicate, work together, manage emotions, show kindness, and solve conflicts as they prepare for a larger classroom environment.
Creativity & Exploration
From art and music to science, STEAM activities, and imaginative play, our Pre-K program encourages children to ask questions, think creatively, experiment, and explore while developing curiosity and critical-thinking skills.
Early Academic Skills
We introduce pre-literacy, early math, science, and problem-solving skills through hands-on, engaging activities that make learning fun and meaningful while building a strong foundation for kindergarten.
