Located in the heart of Warwick, Rhode Island, The Lighthouse Preschool is a family-owned and operated early childhood education center dedicated to providing children with a safe, nurturing, and engaging place to learn, play, and grow. Serving children from infancy through school age, Lighthouse has proudly become a home away from home for generations of local families.
Our programs are thoughtfully designed to support children through each stage of their early development, with experienced and caring educators, age-appropriate learning experiences, and opportunities that encourage creativity, independence, confidence, and meaningful friendships. From our infant and toddler classrooms to preschool, Pre-K, and school-age care, we strive to create an environment where every child feels known, supported, and excited to come to school each day.
Conveniently located on West Shore Road in Warwick, The Lighthouse Preschool offers full-time childcare as well as transportation to and from local schools, helping make busy days a little easier for families. Our classrooms balance learning with play, giving children opportunities to explore, build social-emotional skills, develop school readiness, and—most importantly—enjoy being children.
At The Lighthouse Preschool, we believe childcare is about much more than simply providing a place for children to spend their day. It is about creating lasting relationships with children and their families and building a community where parents feel confident that their children are safe, loved, learning, and thriving. As a family-owned school, we take great pride in knowing our families personally and creating the warm, welcoming atmosphere that has made Lighthouse a trusted part of the Warwick community for more than a decade.

Not only are the teachers attentive, loving, and have amazing patience with them … the admin team have been nothing but helpful and supportive to them as well as myself. Sometimes being a parent is difficult; and all of the staff make sure to help me through difficult transitions and give me tips on how to help my kiddos! Lighthouse uses an amazing app to keep me up to date with photos, meals, potty time, and daily notes on what they did that day.
